A native of Albany, New York and
graduated from the University at
Albany with a Bachelor of Science
degree in accounting in June 1976.
He is a Certified Public Accountant,
licensed by the State of New York
on November 10, 1978.
Mr. Beckett is a member of the
American and New York State
Societies of CPA’s. He began his
accounting career with Jacob
Schulman & Company CPA’s of
Gloversville, New York where he
gained a wide range of experience
under a number of CPA’s. He left
his partnership there to form his own
firm in May 1983.
Philip Beckett is the father of four
children, Kyle, Kelly, Timothy and
Terry, and resides in Gloversville,
New York with his wife Martha. He
has been an active volunteer in
many civic activities and
organizations, such as the
Gloversville Little League, Fulton
County YMCA, Cooperative
Extension, The Eccentric Club, Inc.,
The Sprite Club, Inc. and Pleasant
Square Volunteer Fire Company,
Inc..
Mr Beckett for 8 years has been a
member of the Board of directors
and chairman of the audit committee
of Patriot Federal Bank. Patriot
Federal Bank merged with
Kinderhook Bank in November 2017
A native of Fulton County
and a resident of Johnstown,
and joined the firm in 2005.
Mr. Unislawski currently
manages our audit work,
financial statement and tax
preparation. Eric received
his BA in mathematical
economics from Colgate
University in 1977, his BS in
accounting from SUNY
Institute of Technology at
Utica-Rome in 1992, and
CPA license from the State of
New York in 1995.
Terri is a native of
Johnstown who currently
resides in Gloversville
with her family. After
attending college for two
years in a nursing
program, Terri elected to
become a bookkeeper
and then accountant
which she has down for
26 years. Terri joined the
firm in July 2013 and is
responsible for client
accounting, audit and tax
services.
A military veteran and
California native who moved
to Gloversville in 2003. She
graduated from Ashford
University in 2014 with
Bachelor degrees in Health
and Human Services and
Healthcare Administration with
emphasis in Business
Management. The newest
member of the team, having
joined us in 2020, she is
currently responsible for the
administration of our office
while broadening her
accounting skills through
client bookkeeping and tax
preparation.
A native of the Amsterdam
area, and currently resides
in Johnstown. She joined
the firm in October 2010
and is responsible for the
in-house administration
duties as well as client
bookkeeping. She
received her Bachelor's
degree for Marketing
Management in 1990 from
Siena College, and is now
working towards her
Masters in Accounting.
